Ice Cream Parfait

Invite the kids to make dessert tonight. Any flavour of cookie, ice cream and Smucker's® Sundae Syrup™ will work in this recipe. Preparation Time:

Ingredients:

12 chocolate wafer cookies
2 cups (500 mL) vanilla or chocolate ice cream or frozen yogurt
1 cup (250 mL) Smucker's® Sundae Syrup (Caramel or Chocolate)

Directions:

1. For each parfait, crumble a wafer cookie in the bottom of a tall parfait or stem glass.
2. Scoop about 1/4 cup (50 mL) ice cream on top of each. Drizzle with about 2 tbsp (30 mL) Smucker's® Sundae Syrup. Create another layer of crumbled wafer cookie, ice cream and syrup.
3. Garnish with a whole chocolate wafer cookie. Serve immediately.

Note:

1. Recipe can also be prepared with Smucker's® Topping (Butterscotch or Chocolate).
